Kat’s Korner Pops Up for SHOP SMALL (11.25)

SHOP SMALL is an annual shopping tradition dedicated to supporting small businesses and celebrating communities across the country. Founded by American Express in 2010, Small Business Saturday is celebrated every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This year Kat’s Korner has partnered with ReCreative Spaces to bring you a few creative small businesses to make part of your Small Business Saturday experience.

EXHIBITION: Whiskey, God and Women

Whiskey, God and Women is a new exhibition curated by LSP founder Risikat “Kat” Okedeyi. Featuring work by DC-based artist Rodney “BUCK!” Herring, this one-man show is a culmination of ten years of work around the tensions that are managed as a Black man in America. The exhibition runs through September 29th at MilkBoy ArtHouse in College Park, MD.
