24 Sep LSP Picks!: Nuit Blanche
Saturday, September 28th
641 S Street, NW-WDC
7PM-3AM | FREE
First launched in 2002, Paris Nuit Blanche has become a hotly-anticipated annual celebration of all things art and culture in the City of Light. Attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, the Nuit Blanche spirit has always been about showing Paris off in new and original ways, surprising even its intimates with novel presentations of and interactions with well-known locations all over the city. Nuit Blanche galvanizes museums, galleries, and other cultural organizations to remain open overnight free of charge, essentially uniting the neighborhood into a free-flowing art space.
This coming Saturday, the Alliance Francaise DC will be part of the 2013 Art All Night DC Festival which will be taking place in Shaw. One of 12 featured stop points the AFDC and its partners take over the Wonderbread Factory to create a series of moving parts that include a night filled with visual arts, performance, music (click here for the full line up). It should be a great night out. Check it out and report back to us with your favorite moments.
