“Chocolate City Rocks” is a DC based grassroots initiative started in 2010 by Vance “Head-Roc” Levy, to promote a greater public awareness and patronage of Washington DC area’s conscious and cultural artists. As part of a partnership with the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage, Head-Roc has produced four shows for the Stage (Aug. 23rd, Sept,. 13th & 14th, Dec. 13th).

Hosted by our very own Risikat “Kat” Okedeyi, the first the show will be headlined by GODISHEUS a super-funk, rock group comprised of Vance “Head-Roc” Levy (Infinite Loop) on lead vocals, Dwayne “Super Bad III” Lee (Da Mixx Band) on guitar, Kenny “Kwick” Gross (Chuck Brown) on drums, Byron “BJ” Jackson (Rare Essence) on bass, and Kal-el “Superman” Gross (Faycez U Know) as a featured vocalist.

Opening up for GODISHEUS will be Thaylobleu, an elite four man squadron of DC Hip-Hop legends turning heads in DC’s hallowed and revered Punk community, is led by Terence Nicholson (Opus Akoben) on lead vocal/guitar with Darrell Perry (Poemcees) on lead Guitar, William Vaughan (Storm the Unpredictable) on bass, drummer Joe Hall, and featuring DJ Ayce International (Opus Akoben/Infinite Loop).
